About Harry Warren

 

Harry Warren has lived in Coquitlam his entire life. For

24 years, he has owned a manufacturing and distribution

business.

A Centennial secondary graduate, Harry, 40, enjoys

recreational activities, including skiing, hockey and walking on Mundy Park trails.

In his spare time, Harry builds and re-builds vehicles,

does home renovations, carpentry and furniture projects.

Some of his community involvement includes:

  • Gateway advisory committee on transportation improvements in Coquitlam
  • Maillardville cultural and commercial revitalization task force
  • Southwest Coquitlam Area Plan committee
  • Como Watershed Group (co-chair, treasurer and director)
  • Coquitlam public art task force
  • Coquitlam community liaison committee, (founding member)
  • Coquitlam environment committee
  • Coquitlam transit and transportation committee
  • Coquitlam traffic calming panel (chair and co-chair)
  • Mundy Park Community Association (founder and chair since 1997)

Harry has been an active participant at city council meetings

and public hearings for ten years, asking questions of the

mayor, council and staff about city business on the agenda.

Harry with his eight month old daughter and Mr. Ogopogo in a vineyard in the Okanagan, BC.
